공연내용
모두예술극장 해외 초청 프로그램의 일환으로 진행된 한국·프랑스 공동 창작 작품이다.
‘제자리’의 사전적 정의는 본래 있던 자리, 위치의 변화가 없는 같은 자리, 마땅히 있어야 할 자리이다.
In-situ라는 형태의 예술은 현장(지역)의 요소들로 공연을 만들어 내는 것을 뜻한다.
프랑스 극단 라 콤마의 연출가 미셸 슈와이저는 한국의 출연자들과 함께
출연자 개개인과 한국의 특성을 바탕으로 공연을 만들었다.
이 형태를 기반으로 질문과 답을 찾는 과정을 통해 지금 여기 살고 있는 나만의 ‘자리’,
우리의 일상을 채우고 있는 개인의 취향에서부터 ‘나’라는 사람의 기원, 즉 본연의 나를 찾아가는 과정을 담았다.
Jejari/In-situ is a collaborative creation between South Korea and France, presented as part of the Modu Art Theater Overseas Invitation Program. The literal definition of In-situ is the original place, the unchanged location, and the right place to be. In-situ art means creating a performance using the elements of the location. Michel Schweizer, the director of the French theater company La Coma, created the performance with Korean actors based on the characteristics of each performer and Korea itself. Based on this concept, the production explores the process of finding one’s own “place” in the present, from individual preferences that fill our daily lives to the origin of “self,” the search for our true essence.
연출 미셸 슈와이저
프랑스 안무가이자 연출가이며 남부 프랑스에 기반을 두고 있는 극단 라 콤마의 창립자이다.
공연 예술과 시각 예술의 경계를 오가는 작품 활동을 통해 특정 장르에 한정되지 않는 연출을 해오고 있다. 또한 그동안 무대에서 잘 다뤄지지 않았던 사회 속의 다양한 현실을 반영하는 인물을 조명하며, 개인이 마주하는 사회적 현실에 대해 질문한다.
Director Michel Schweizer
Michel Schweizer is a French choreographer, artistic director, and founder of the theater company La Coma, based in Bordeaux, southern France. He has been involved in creative work that transcends specific genres through his activities in performing and visual arts. Additionally, he sheds light on various aspects of society that have not been well-represented on stage, and asks questions about the social realities individuals face.
